The Keyzer Family

Jon and I currently live on the first floor of the building with our 3 children.  Ishmael is 5 years old, he loves Spiderman, angry birds and star wars.  He is home schooled and is in kindergarten.  He is a very kind and empathetic kid.  Simon is 11 years old, we adopted him from Bulgaria in 2013.  He goes to Hartley elementary school.  He has been through so much in his life, yet he can still have a smile that fills your heart with joy.  He is very handsome but is a boy of few words.  June is our youngest and is about 15 months old.  She is working on walking and is a very happy little girl.

Jon works as a pastor at our church and has for about 3 years.  He kind of stumbled into this position after working in social work for several years.  It is weird calling him a pastor and being introduced as a pastor's wife is still very shocking to my system.  I don't work for the church but my volunteering has really been upped since Jon has been working there.  I lead worship weekly, write the church newsletter and lead a small group.  I work part-time as an office manager and billing specialist at a chiropractic office.  Since Jon and I both work part time we share the responsibilities of home schooling Ishmael, doing housework and watching our kids. 

In March 2016, we will be celebrating our 7th year at the Bolivar House.
