Rachel joined our community several years ago when she was on parole....about 9 months after she moved in, she got married and Anoroy joined the Bolivar House community. There are a lot of really cool things I could tell you about them, but here are the ones I can think of right now, they like cats, they have a cat named Graham that is more of a dog than a cat. Rachel LOVES helping people...some times it is hard to stop her from trying to save the whole world. She has overcome so much in her life and she longs to help others do the same. Anoroy uses words that make you think, like calling a trash can a rubbish receptacle (not sure if that is right, but there are things he says, that make you say, what?) He is also African....which is pretty dang cool. He listens to some pretty sweet music.
Right now Rachel balances working at VI and at her dream job at a treatment center. Anoroy is rocking a job at Blueblood brewery, he even has business cards. Both of them are balancing working at the R12 house in their "spare" time. haha. They have been a joy at the Bolivar house and their physical distance, you know moving across the alley, has been a hard adjustment.
We are blessed to be blessed by this couple, look how cute they are!
